Job summary

FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited in Huntingdon is seeking Handlers for our operations teams, central to delivering packages safely and on time. The role offers a 40-hour week with a 12:00–20:30 shift pattern and a starting hourly rate of £13.29, including premia for eligible evening/night hours.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading vehicles, sorting and moving freight with scanners, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

Position Summary:

We are looking for Handlers to join our operations teams who are at the heart of our business, ensuring our customers packages get to them safely and on time.

Working hours: 40 per week
Shift pattern: 12pm to 8:30 am Sunday to Friday,
Salary: £13.29 per hour, Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am.

What are you going to be doing?

• Loading and unloading vehicles to ensure customers receive their goods in good condition and on time.
• Sorting and moving packaging and freight using scanning technology
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations

What are we looking for?

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• A great team player with the ability to work alone when required
• Someone who willing to complete training when required
• Good communication skills
