A local government authority in Tees Valley is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Chief Executive and the Leader of the Council. This role requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to handle sensitive information and manage diverse workloads. The successful candidate will be responsible for all functions and working arrangements within the PA Network and PA Teams. You will provide a PA Service to the Chief Executive, Leader of the Council and an Executive Director, ensuring that they have the resources and assistance needed to make impactful decisions that shape the future of our town.

You will be responsible for over‑seeing and coordinating the workload of the Chief Executive, the Leader of the Council and an Executive Director, providing a comprehensive, proactive, integrated support to efficiently manage expectations and requirements.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills; be highly organised and efficient, as well as being diplomatic; able to deal with sensitive and confidential matters. Communicating effectively, proactively managing a diverse and varied workload, you will need to meet tight internal and external deadlines, whilst juggling priorities, in a flexible and adaptable way.
