Job summary

Morson Edge, on behalf of a major energy client, seeks a Construction Planning Engineer for a Bridgwater site, with 3 days on site and 2 days from home. Contract until Dec 2026, strong extension potential, start Oct 2026. You will develop Level 5 short-term schedules, coordinate with tier-1 partners, and support 16-week look-ahead in a highly regulated environment. Proficiency in P6 and 4D planning is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in detailed construction scheduling on complex/regulatory projects.
• Strong communication and English proficiency required.
• NEC contracts knowledge is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress Level 5 schedules for on-site activities.
• Integrate construction schedules with tier-1 partners and the 16-week look-ahead.
• Governance and updating of schedules using the planning toolset across the project.
