Full-time Secondary P.E. Teacher Needed in Coventry, West Midlands

Start date: September 2025 - Ongoing

Are you passionate about teaching P.E. and looking for a new position this term?

A highly regarded secondary school in Central Coventry is seeking to recruit a full-time P.E. Teacher to join their supportive team from September 2025. The role involves managing a timetable across all secondary year groups, including ideally A-Level (KS5) classes. The school is known for its student progress and teacher support and development. Initially, the position will cover maternity leave, with potential for further opportunities for the right candidate.

Willingness to cover other secondary subjects as part of the timetable is desirable, as some cover supervision may be required.

The successful P.E. teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant coaching qualifications and a higher-level diploma
• Experience in sports coaching and/or education
• The ability to deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
• Knowledge of effective pupil behaviour management and the ability to implement strategies with classes of up to 30 students
