Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a PE Cover Supervisor to support Bristol secondary schools on a flexible supply basis. You will supervise PE lessons, follow lesson plans, and help pupils stay engaged and safe during activities.

Ideal candidates have experience with secondary-aged pupils and hold a PE, sports, personal training, fitness, or related qualification. Flexible day-to-day or longer-term opportunities available across Bristol. Tradewind offers dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Qualified in PE, Sports, Personal Training, or fitness-related field.
• Confident managing behaviour in a secondary school environment.
• Available for flexible day-to-day or longer-term supply work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PE lessons in the absence of a teacher.
• Follow school-provided plans and instructions.
• Support pupils with sporting and physical activities.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom management.
• Ensure pupils are safe and engaged throughout lessons.
• Work across multiple Bristol secondary schools on a flexible basis.
