Job summary

Explore Learning in Oxford is hiring a Maths and English Tutor to deliver tailored sessions on-site at our Oxford centre. You’ll coach children aged 4–16, using Compass to tailor lessons, stretch goals, and scaffold learning.

You’ll foster safe, inspiring environments and track progress across the national curriculum and entrance exams. You must be 16+ with right to work in the UK and have GCSE Maths & English grade 6 or above.

Qualifications

• Must be age 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
• GCSE Maths & English grade 6 or above (predicted acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored sessions using Compass to facilitate learning through guided questioning and scaffolding.
• Build confident, inspiring learning environments for 4–16-year-olds.
• Support members with national curriculum content, 11+ and GCSE preparation.
