Job summary

Tripod Partners is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for the Assessment Team in South Oxfordshire. Immediate start with an ongoing contract.

It offers strong support with your own designated consultant, CV review, interview advice, and access to a wide range of social work roles across the UK. Role requires substantial post-qualification experience in Children’s Services, particularly assessment and duty work, with CIN/CP/LAC experience.

Qualifications

• Strong post-qualification experience in Children’s Team – Assessment and Duty work (minimum 2 years).
• Hold CIN and CP cases and also LAC cases.
• Experience completing SWETs and Section 7 reports.
• Experience with Section 47 assessments, strategy discussions and ICPCs.
• Handling complex CP cases, CP visits, Core groups, RCPCs.
• Managing CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations.
• Writing court reports and attending court.
• Attending Strategy Meetings, network and professional meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality social work assessment and duty cover for Children’s Team.
• Manage and document CIN/CP/LAC caseloads, including SWETs, court reports and strategy meetings.
