Job summary

Crimson Education is seeking tutors for the Oxbridge Summer Scholars programme to deliver university-level teaching and lead tutorials for international students aged 14–19. You will guide students through seminars and one-on-one tutorials, fostering independent argumentation and rigorous thinking.

Tutors participate on a per-day basis, delivering sessions within the December programme. A degree in the relevant field is required, with Oxford/Cambridge experiences and strong communication

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in the relevant subject is required.
• Oxford or Cambridge, G5, or Russell Group degree preferred; Master’s/PhD an advantage.
• Willingness to engage with interdisciplinary ethos of the stream.

Responsibilities

• Deliver university-level lectures and seminars in your subject area.
• Run Oxbridge-style tutorials with individuals or pairs to develop independent thinking.
• Supervise students' research projects and provide academic guidance.
• Prepare teaching materials and reading lists tailored to the stream.
• Collaborate with the academic team to ensure a coherent curriculum.
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback in the spirit of Oxbridge teaching.
• Be available to respond to students’ academic questions during the programme.
