Job summary

Shorts Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom is seeking an Accounts Manager for our Owner Managed Business (OMB) team. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) with hybrid working, based in Sheffield or Chesterfield, your choice.

You'll join a growing OMB group, work closely with Partners and Directors, and benefit from regular development conversations, two-weekly catch-ups, and a supportive culture that values work-life balance and flexible benefits.

Accounts Manager - Owner Managed Business

Location:Sheffield or Chesterfield (your choice) · Hybrid working

This is a newly created Accounts Manager role in our Owner Managed Business team, at a genuinely interesting point in the team's story. OMB has grown by 46% over the last four years, and this year we completed a full review of our client portfolio to make sure we're working with the right clients, the right way - fewer, better relationships rather than high-volume compliance work.

What you'll be part of

• A well-established team: 2 OMB Partners, a Director, 3 Managers (plus you), an Assistant Manager, a Tax Manager, and a wider OMB team of around 10
• Two-weekly one-to-ones with your Director to support your development and track your goals
• Weekly team meetings keeping you connected to what's happening across the firm
