Job summary

British Airways is seeking an Overseas Station Engineer at LHR to provide licensed aircraft engineering support worldwide and at home bases. The role requires a UK CAA B1 licence on multiple Boeing/Airbus types, flexibility for short postings, and visa eligibility for North America.

You will work within a small certifying team with focus on airworthiness, safety and regulatory compliance. You will be part of a dynamic environment, coordinating with line maintenance and customers, and

Qualifications

• Hold a Full UK CAA B1 licence or equivalent on at least two current Boeing/Airbus aircraft types.
• Must be able to hold a working visa & petition to work in North America.
• Demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience (6 months within the last 2 years).
• Team leading experience.

Responsibilities

• Member of a small team of certifying engineers prepared to carryout short term postings anywhere on the BA network.
• Maintain the highest airworthiness, quality, safety, and performance standards, to ensure all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft maintenance and inspection are complied with.
• Ensure BA and Customer Line Maintenance operations for the Station/Area are delivered to BA, Customer, UK CAA, EASA or National Aviation Authority Compliance Standards.
• Represent British Airways Line Maintenance as and when required during contact with customers and local regulatory bodies.
