Abbeycare is part of the Optimo Care Group and is currently seeking dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our team in Sheffield. You will provide overnight care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort throughout the night.

The role requires staying awake during shifts, performing welfare checks, assisting with personal care, and documenting activities in night logs.

Formación

• Compassionate and person-centred care approach.
• Ability to work nights and stay alert.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable/essential.

Responsabilidades

• Overnight supervision to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Welfare checks and respond to needs.
• Assist with personal care during the night.
• Administering medication per policies.
• Maintain accurate night logs and incident reports.
• Keep the home environment safe and clean.
• Support individuals who wake during the night.
• Promote dignity, respect, and independence.
• Report concerns to the Service Manager.
