Job summary

Asda in Totton (near Southampton) is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team and keep everything running while the world sleeps. You will ensure availability, maintain high shop-floor standards across all departments, and safeguard store safety and legality during the night shift in a 24-hour operation.

This role involves rolling rosters, four nights over seven including weekends, and taking sole responsibility for the store through the night.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Strong decision-making and hands-on attitude to improve processes and people.
• Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach night team to deliver high shopfloor standards.
• Oversee 24-hour store operations and ensure safety/compliance during night hours.
• Plan and adjust night activities to optimise availability and wastage.
