Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Penrith is seeking a Trading Assistant to support stock replenishment and customer service in a fast-paced store. This fixed-term, part-time role covers 18.5 hours per week with night shifts from 21:00 to 07:00.

You will collect stock from the warehouse, handle up to 15kg cages, check dates on fresh produce, assist customers, and help with deliveries as needed. Right to work in the UK and being 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• The minimum application age is 18 due to hours and goods handled.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect stock from warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15kg) to replenish shelves.
• Serve customers and assist with questions during store hours.
• Date check fresh produce and grocery items.
• Help across the store and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
