Job summary

Touchstone is recruiting for an overnight crisis support role in Wakefield. The post is 28 hours per week, 4 nights on 4 nights off, 10:00pm–6:00am, fixed term up to 31 March 2028 with possible extension.

You will provide urgent non-clinical support during the night as part of a 24/7 service alongside emergency and community partners. We seek enthusiastic, resilient individuals with substantial experience supporting people in emotional distress, including those at risk of suicide or self-harm,

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting people experiencing emotional distress, including those at risk of suicide or self-harm.
• Commitment to accessible and culturally responsive support for diverse communities.
• Ability to work overnights as part of a 4 nights on/4 nights off cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent non-clinical crisis support during the night.
• Work 10:00pm–6:00am on a rolling 4 nights on/4 nights off pattern.
• Support Wakefield service expansion as part of a 24/7 crisis model.
