Turning Point UK in Manchester is expanding an overnight crisis support service and needs an Overnight Team Leader to supervise an Overnight Recovery Workers team. You will support the Service Manager, provide direct support during crises and help shape the overnight service to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health or social care settings.
• Leadership or team supervision experience.
• Recovery-focused, person-centred approach.
• Experience supporting individuals in crisis and risk management.
• Strong communications, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to inspire, develop and challenge colleagues.
• Genuine interest in mental health.

Responsabilités

• Lead, motivate and support a Overnight Recovery Workers team.
• Assist with day-to-day service management and deputise for the Service Manager.
• Provide direct support to people experiencing mental health crises.
• Oversee triage, risk assessments, safety planning and de-escalation.
• Promote recovery-focused approaches enabling informed choices.
• Build relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
• Conduct staff supervision and contribute to service development.
• Monitor quality standards and undertake audits.
