Audley Villages is seeking a Night Porter to keep our village safe, welcoming and well-presented overnight. You will perform security checks, monitor CCTV, respond to emergencies and support with overnight cleaning and reception duties, while staying calm and professional through busy periods.
Working independently with reliability and good communication, you’ll help maintain facilities for owners and guests, prepare pools and leisure areas for the morning, and hand over clear reports to the day
At Audley Villages we create exceptional retirement communities where people can enjoy later life with confidence, independence and choice.
Audley Villages is part of AEM Living, a group bringing together three premium retirement living brands - Audley Villages, Mayfield Villages and Elysian Residences.
Our Audley villages offer stylish private apartments and houses alongside outstanding facilities, including restaurants, bars, health clubs and swimming pools. Most importantly, we provide exceptional service and create vibrant communities where our owners can enjoy retirement on their terms.
As a Night Porter at Audley Villages, you will play an important role in ensuring our village remains safe, secure, welcoming and beautifully presented throughout the night. You will be a visible and reassuring presence for our owners and guests, providing friendly and professional support while carrying out overnight security checks, monitoring CCTV, responding appropriately to emergencies and ensuring the village is ready for the following day. You will also support with overnight cleaning, refuse collection, pool and leisure facility preparation, reception duties and administrative tasks. This is a role where you will need to work confidently and independently, manage competing priorities and remain calm and professional when unexpected situations arise.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, calm and naturally caring, with the confidence to work independently and make sensible decisions overnight.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided.
We believe our people deserve to feel as valued as the owners and guests we look after.
