Job summary

The Wimbledon Championships are seeking an Overlay Manager to coordinate temporary installations across multiple venues, ensuring compliance with site rules and safety regulations. You will lead contractor activities, interpret drawings, and manage permits to work while maintaining strict timelines.

You will work across venues, including Wimbledon Qualifying, Grounds, and Community Sports Centre, with responsibilities for risk assessment, incident logging, and close collaboration with Estate

Qualifications

• Experience in managing site-based teams and contractors.
• Good understanding of CDM regulations and health and safety rules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multiple trades on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction of temporary overlay structures to meet timelines.
• Interpret drawings for internal fit outs and logistics with suppliers.
• Monitor contractor works to ensure compliance with site rules and safety.
• Issue permits to work per site regulations.
• Log incidents and coordinate remedial actions.
• Provide daily progress updates to line manager and teams.
