Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited is seeking an experienced Overhead Linesperson to join our field operations. You will carry out construction, maintenance and replacement of overhead electrical networks up to 33kV, erect poles and replace transformers, while ensuring safety and high-quality delivery on site.

You will participate in risk assessments, mentor colleagues, and maintain tools and equipment, with a strong focus on safety and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience as an overhead linesperson.
• Experience working on dead networks and live LV systems.
• NRSWA Operative accreditation.
• Desirable: IPAF accreditation, City & Guilds 2339, NPTC Chainsaw qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction, maintenance and replacement of overhead electrical networks up to 33kV.
• Erect poles, replace transformers and undertake a range of overhead line activities.
• Work safely at all times in line with company policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments and monitor works to identify and report any changes.
• Ensure all work is delivered efficiently and to high quality standards.
• Follow all method statements, risk assessments and safety instructions.
• Maintain site safety and report any SHEQ concerns.
• Mentor and support other team members on site.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.
