Clancy is seeking an experienced Overhead Linesperson to support the delivery, maintenance and repair of electricity infrastructure across the UK Power Networks area. You will work on LV and up to 11kV networks, constructing, maintaining and repairing overhead lines, and ensuring safe, reliable power supply.

You will lead a two-person team on site, mentoring apprentices and other colleagues to maintain high standards of safety and workmanship, while liaising with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on overhead electricity networks up to 11kV.
• Experience in DNO environments, especially UK Power Networks (EPN).
• Current UK Power Networks Competency Authorisations or ability to obtain them.
• Live Working Accompaniment accreditation is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is essential; related industry qualifications are a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Construct, maintain and repair overhead networks up to 11kV.
• Install and replace poles, conductors, insulators and related equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance, fault response and emergency restoration work.
• Support network reinforcement, diversion and asset replacement projects.
• Work safely at height using approved climbing and access techniques.
• Carry out testing procedures and dynamic risk assessments on HV and LV lines.
• Inspect the network and identify defects; complete site documentation and records.
• Liaise with customers, landowners and stakeholders during works.
• Lead and mentor a two-person team on site to maintain high safety and workmanship standards.
