Job summary

Ipsum is seeking an experienced Overhead Lines (OHL) Supervisor to manage on-site OHL resources in Carnforth. You will control attendance, timekeeping, duty allocation and ensure works are safe, quality-driven and on programme.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will liaise with engineers and planners to resource and deliver tasks while maintaining records and managing cost risk. A full driving licence and OHL experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years plus in overhead line industry and a year in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience managing teams and site operations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and DNO distribution safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OHL teams to deliver work safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Brief operatives on work packs, risk assessments and site requirements, ensuring documentation is completed.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure resources and delivery to programme.
• Maintain high safety, quality, environmental standards on site.
• Act as main site contact for clients, contractors and stakeholders.
