Job summary

United Infrastructure T&D is seeking a Civils Site Engineer (Access and Enabling Works) for an overhead lines project in Inverness, Scotland. You will oversee daily health and safety protocols for staff and subcontractors, coordinate foremen, and manage resources to support the enabling works phase before tower assembly.

Qualifications

• Safety qualification required (IOSH or NEBOSH).
• Experience managing sub-contractors and recording measurements for financial settlement.
• Willingness to work away from home regularly for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Health & Safety for staff and subcontractors. Report safety incidents and near misses.
• Coordinate Foremen and subcontractors; assist Construction Manager with staff competencies and training.
• Control costs and monitor financial status of project area.
