Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an Overhead Crane Operator for our client in Wolverhampton. The role involves operating an overhead crane and various machinery in a manufacturing setting, with rotating shift patterns and a rate of £14.00 per hour.

You will perform quality checks, load/unload materials, and maintain safe, tidy work areas while adhering to health and safety procedures. Previous production experience and an valid crane licence are desirable; onsite work with potential overtime

Qualifications

• Valid Overhead Crane Licence/Certificate (essential).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
• Operate a variety of production and manufacturing machinery.
• Hand bundle and package finished products to customer specifications.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support other departments when required.

he Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Overhead Crane Operator for our valued client based in Wolverhampton.

Working Hours: 3 Rotating Weekly Shifts: 5:45-14:00; 13:45-22:00 and 21:45-06:00

Pay rate: £14.00 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating an overhead crane safely and efficiently as part of daily duties
• Operating a variety of production and manufacturing machinery
• Hand bundling and packaging finished products to customer specifications
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
• Loading and unloading materials safely
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting other departments when required

Requirements:

• Valid Overhead Crane Licence/Certificate (essential)
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable
• Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively
