OutSystems Software Engineer Opportunity

An innovative company is seeking an OutSystems Software Engineer, ideally based in London or remotely within the UK, to join their Software Engineering Team. The role involves developing the OutSystems platform and contributing to software solutions within a lean, agile environment. Due to release cycles across weekends, support may be required at least once a month on a rota basis. For candidates near Central London, a hybrid work model of three days onsite and two days remote is preferred; further afield candidates may be considered for full remote work.

As an OutSystems Software Engineer, you will analyze, design, and implement trading systems, as well as develop live updates, pricing reports, and user interfaces. Collaboration with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and obtain sign-off is essential. Proficiency in full-stack Microsoft software solutions, particularly C#, is required, along with teamwork to develop, test, and deliver solutions.

Permanent Profile Requirements:

• Minimum of five years experience in low-code application development using the OutSystems platform.
• Fundamentals in C# and full-stack software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in capturing end-user requirements and working collaboratively with business users.
• Bright, collaborative, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or a related field.

Contract Details:

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £90,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus

Location: London-based or remote within the UK
