Job summary

Yorkshire Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking passionate EYFS Teaching Assistants for Goole and surrounding areas. Multiple part-time and full-time positions are available with ASAP start.

You will support the delivery of engaging early years activities, help create a nurturing and safe learning environment, and assist in the development of young children through the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3).
• Experience in EYFS or nursery settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Goole

Salary: £92.56 - £100 per day

Job Type: Part-time & Full-time positions available

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking passionate EYFS Teaching Assistants for various positions in and around the Goole area. We have both part-time and full-time positions available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Help create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that promotes exploration, play, and early learning.
• Assist in the personal, social, emotional, and educational development of young children through targeted support and encouragement.
• Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to implement the EYFS framework and contribute to planning, observation, and assessment.
• Support children with personal care needs and help establish routines that foster independence and confidence

Requirements:

• Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent). Level 3 is desirable.
• Experience working with children in EYFS or nursery settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient approach.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting early childhood development.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
