Job summary

Austin Rose Associates in London is recruiting an Outsourcing Assistant Manager to lead a high-profile corporate portfolio within a Top 40 Firm. You will oversee accounts preparation and outsourcing services, guiding junior staff and reporting to Partners, Directors and Senior Managers.

The role requires ACA/ACCA, strong UK/IFRS knowledge, UK Tax and VAT, and proficiency in Xero, Caseware and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA).
• Strong technical knowledge of UK and International accounting standards, combined with practical working knowledge of UK Tax and VAT compliance.
• Proficiency in Xero, Caseware, and advanced Excel.
• Direct experience supervising junior staff and managing group consolidation workings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse client portfolio across corporate sectors, overseeing delivery of accounts preparation and outsourcing services.
• Plan, supervise, and review complex management accounts, financial reports, and statutory accounts prepared by junior team members.
• Prepare and review detailed consolidation workings to support multi-entity group accounts.
• Report directly to Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers as a key client advisor.
