Austin Rose is recruiting an Accounts & Financial Reporting Assistant Manager/Manager for a Top 40 firm in London. You will lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for multi-entity and international group structures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will provide expert guidance under UK GAAP and IFRS, supervise a junior accounts team, and deliver targeted technical coaching while driving career progression within a vibrant, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Extensive experience in statutory accounts preparation and complex group consolidations.
• Advanced Excel skills for consolidation modelling; familiarity with Caseware and Xero.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for multi-entity international groups.
• Oversee consolidation workings, acquisition accounting adjustments, eliminations and non-controlling interests.
• Provide technical guidance under UK GAAP and IFRS to clients and teams.
• Plan, supervise and review output of junior accounts staff and coach.

• Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for complex, multi-entity, and international group structures.
• Oversee detailed consolidation workings, including acquisition accounting adjustments, eliminations, and non-controlling interests.
• Provide expert technical guidance under UK GAAP and IFRS directly to clients, internal audit teams, and partners.
• Plan, supervise, and review the output of junior accounts team members while delivering targeted technical coaching.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Hold the ACA or ACCA qualification
• Demonstrate extensive technical experience in statutory accounts preparation and complex group consolidations.
• Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills for consolidation modelling, alongside working knowledge of Caseware and Xero.
