The post holder will provide administrative, logistical and practical support to the Essex Sexual Health Service Outreach and Health Promotion Team, helping to ensure the effective planning and delivery of outreach, health promotion and education activities across Essex.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the team with stock control, stock audits, stock requisitions and general administration associated with outreach and health promotion activity. They will assist with maintaining accurate records, collecting and entering data, and supporting the organisation and promotion of training and events.
The post holder will provide practical support for outreach events, including assisting with preparation, resources, equipment and materials, and supporting the team during events and activities in community and other settings.
The role will require working closely with members of the Outreach and Education Team, partner organisations and other professionals to support the smooth coordination and delivery of health promotion and outreach activity.
Although this post will be predominately supporting delivery in North Essex, the post holder may be expected to support the wider service with activities across Essex. The role may therefore require regular travel and flexibility to support outreach events and activities across the county.
