Job summary

Citizens Advice Darlington in Grangetown, Redcar and Cleveland is recruiting an Outreach Adviser (Schools) to join an exciting new project based in Grangetown. You will engage with families and schools to provide high-quality advice and support in the community.

We’re looking for someone who can connect confidently with vulnerable clients, has strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and is committed to making a positive difference. The role includes training and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Empathy and commitment to helping others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and numeracy.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Experience delivering generalist advice across multiple enquiry areas.
• Experience building relationships with communities and partner organisations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
