Job summary

Teesside University is seeking a motivated Widening Participation Assistant to support planning, delivery and coordination of outreach activities aimed at underrepresented groups. You will engage schools and community partners, deliver events and manage Student Ambassadors within a hybrid working pattern.

The role requires organising and presenting activities, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in organising and delivering events or activities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Confidence in delivering presentations and engaging diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver events and workshops as part of the outreach programme.
• Build relationships with schools, colleges and community partners.
• Coordinate and manage Student Ambassadors and outreach activity.
• Contribute to monitoring and evaluation to evidence impact.
