Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking an Outlet Planner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will collate commercial information, align Outlet and BU plans, and highlight risks and opportunities to ensure priorities are implemented.

Working closely with the Outlet Planning Manager, you’ll develop self-service reports with the Data & Reporting team and support trading activity analysis, including markdowns and promotions.

Qualifications

• Strong merchandising skills.
• Knowledge of business IT systems and stock interdependencies.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
• Understanding of non-buying support areas such as Space, Logistics, Pricing & Promotions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor targets for stock, intake, OTIF, cost of reductions and options management.
• Facilitate the budgeting and planning process for stock and commitment within deadlines.
• Collaborate with Data & Reporting to shape reporting requirements and automate self-service reports.
• Contribute to end-to-end critical path and identify operational issues.
• Support the Planning Manager with trading activity analysis and weekly sales reviews.
