Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser in London to support the Merchandiser with pre- and in-season range sales, stock forecasts and collaboration across channels, including international. You will contribute to planning, booking quantities, and maintaining range listings.

You will work with sourcing, design and buying teams to drive performance, manage costs, and develop in-season actions. A strong merchandising background and IT proficiency are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Core merchandising skills including managing GSM, development of Department Plan, stock/commitment management, creating sales estimates, and production plans.
• Knowledge of the end to end buy to store process.
• Controlling unplanned in-season costs.
• Negotiation skills (managing in season unplanned costs).

Aufgaben

• Support the Merchandiser in agreeing the strategy and targets for pre and in-season range sales and stock forecasts by channel.
• Analyze sales to identify winners and losers and take action with stakeholders to maximise sales opportunities.
• Assist the Merchandiser and Buying team to plan products each quarter across all channels inc International.
• Book quantities to meet launches and respond to in-season variables for all channels in the UK and International.
• Assist Department Plan reviews and lessons learned.
• Maintain departmental documentation for sale periods including markdown plans.
• Keep Range Planner listings accurate.
• Collaborate with Sourcing to manage critical path from buy to delivery and monitor global production plans.
