Job summary

Igne is seeking Trainee Field Technicians to join its Construction Materials Testing Division in Daventry. This outdoor, hands-on role requires no prior experience and offers training from seasoned engineers and technicians.

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• On-site sampling and testing of soils and construction materials.
• Liaising with senior staff on schedules and testing procedures.
• Adherence to in-house quality assurance and health & safety policies.

Responsibilities

• On-site sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
• Complete test sheets and data entry onto tablets.
• Coordinate with senior staff on work schedules and testing procedures.
• Maintain high health and safety standards per policies.
• Support team with testing tasks and data recording.
