Job summary

Trackway Solutions, part of Generator Power, is recruiting a Trackway Labourer in Stevenage. This hands-on, outdoors role involves loading, installing and removing medium-duty trackway mats to create temporary roadways and walkways on client sites.

Qualifications

• Good level of physical fitness.
• Ability to lift, carry and move heavy trackway mats.
• Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and good timekeeping.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Awareness of health and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload medium-duty trackway mats from vehicles.
• Assist with delivery and collection of trackway materials to/from site.
• Install, move, position and remove trackway mats safely.
• Work outdoors on client sites including construction, events, utilities.
• Help create temporary roadways, walkways and ground protection areas.
• Ensure mats are laid correctly and secured.
• Check mats for damage or dirt.
• Maintain mats, tools and equipment.
• Follow instructions from Lead Operative or Site Manager.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Represent Trackway Solutions professionally on client sites.
• Support basic site checks before/during/after installation.
• Assist with general labouring duties as required.
