Outcomes First Group's Wetheringsett Manor School in Suffolk is seeking an enthusiastic Outdoor Education Teacher to lead and develop our outdoor learning provision for pupils aged 11-18 with SEND.
You will deliver engaging learning experiences, build confidence and resilience, and work with the therapy team to tailor programmes such as Forest School, Horticulture and Duke of Edinburgh. A QTS or equivalent is required, and driving licence is essential.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.15am - 3.45pm
Salary: £39,000 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Start: October 2026

As our Outdoor Education Teacher, you will deliver engaging and meaningful learning experiences that help pupils build confidence, resilience, independence, and practical life skills.
You will take a lead role in developing and enhancing the school's outdoor education curriculum, delivering programmes such as:
Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, families, and external agencies, you will create personalised learning opportunities that enable every pupil to achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
