Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver in Medway Valley. The role involves starting from the local delivery office, sorting deliveries, and loading the route for daily outdoor delivery, with a focus on customer service.

You will use a handheld device for signature capture and navigation, delivering by foot and/or vehicle, potentially walking up to 8 miles per day. A UK manual driving licence is required, with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required with up to 6 points (clean licence preferred).
• Experience in delivery or driving is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills are required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg; use delivery trolleys when needed.
