Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver for a temporary contract in Dudley, earning £13.69 per hour. Working up to 30 hours weekly, shifts run Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 7pm, with weekend flexibility required.

You will sort and load mail and parcels at the local delivery office, then deliver by vehicle and on foot, covering up to eight miles daily. A handheld device will be used for navigation, and you will work independently outdoors, requiring strong customer service

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Good time management and a customer-first approach.
• Delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load daily deliveries at the local delivery office.
• Deliver mail and parcels by vehicle and on foot, up to eight miles per day.
• Use handheld device to navigate routes and capture customer signatures.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.
