Job summary

Anderselite are assisting a client in recruiting a Meter Reader for the Brighton area. You will be part of a dedicated metering team responsible for installing, maintaining and managing gas, electricity and water meters.

The role is outdoors and involves walking several miles daily. You must be self-motivated, able to plan routes on handheld devices, manage appointments, and provide excellent customer service while recording data accurately and safely in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence; location: Brighton
• Must be able to walk several miles daily and work outdoors
• Pass DBS check and provide five-year employment history
• Provide excellent customer service while recording data accurately
• Ability to plan routes and manage appointments independently

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and manage gas, electricity and water meters
• Ensure customers are billed accurately
• Monitor energy usage patterns
• Plan routes using handheld devices and record meter readings
• Work outdoors in all weather and maintain safety and efficiency
