Job summary

Anderselite are assisting a client in recruiting a Meter Reader for the Brighton area. You will be part of a dedicated metering team responsible for installing, maintaining and managing gas, electricity and water meters.

The role is outdoors and involves walking several miles daily. You must be self-motivated, able to plan routes on handheld devices, manage appointments, and provide excellent customer service while recording data accurately and safely in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence; location: Brighton
• Must be able to walk several miles daily and work outdoors
• Pass DBS check and provide five-year employment history

Job description

CMy client a leading provider of metering services within the UK energy retail sector require a Meter Reader in the Brighton area.

You will be part of a dedicated Metering team responsible for installing, maintaining, and managing gas, electricity, and water meters.

The role ensures customers are billed accurately and energy usage patterns are monitored effectively.

The position involves working outdoors, often walking several miles daily, and requires a self-motivated and energetic individual who can manage appointments and work independently.

You will use handheld devices to plan routes and record meter readings, providing excellent customer service while working efficiently and safely in all weather conditions.

The role requires adherence to strict screening and vetting standards, including providing a five-year employment history and passing a DBS check.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
