Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an energetic, outdoors-oriented AP Practitioner / Instructor to join our Barnoldswick setting on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You don’t need QTS; passion for nature and hands-on leadership will drive success.

Ideal candidates bring Forest School or outdoor instruction experience, empathy for SEMH needs, and resilience to work in diverse Lancashire weather, with a driving licence recommended for rural transport.

Competenze

Experience as Forest School leader, Scout/Guide leader, outdoor education instructor, or youth mentor.
Strong empathy, patience, de-escalation awareness, and SEMH understanding.
Comfort working outdoors in all Lancashire weather conditions.
QTS is not required; outdoor qualifications are valued but character comes first.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle recommended due to rural location.

Mansioni

Lead and facilitate woodland-based learning and bushcraft activities across the 26-acre estate.
Deliver life skills and pastoral sessions within log cabin learning hubs.
Build trust through walk-and-talk engagement and outdoor mentoring.
Foster safe boundaries, resilience, and support for learners with trauma history.
Monitor and record pastoral engagement, attendance, and milestones.
