Job summary
Westminster City Council seeks an Assistant (Apprentice) Outdoor Instructor for a 56 acre Surrey Hills site. You will learn to run outdoor activity sessions while on an Outdoor Activity Instructor level 3 apprenticeship, with accommodation provided and a rotating evening schedule.
You may have qualifications in Environmental Science, Geography or Biology, or related experience with young people. The role involves heights and confined spaces, and ST A pool responder training is included with
Qualifications
- Qualification in Environmental Science, Geography or Biology.
- Experience with children or young people is a plus.
- STA pool responder training provided; must be a confident swimmer.
Responsibilities
- Run outdoor activity sessions for groups visiting the centre.
- Assist Grounds person with conservation and grounds management tasks.
- Live-in role with free accommodation and evening working rota.
