Job summary

Rushden Lakes is seeking Sales Assistants (Customer Advisors) to help customers find the right outdoor gear and provide friendly service. Training includes boot fitting, gait analysis, and rucksack fitting, with a fixed-term contract to 31 October 2026 and zero-hour shifts.

You’ll work with a team that loves the outdoors, enjoy staff discounts, and receive ongoing training to grow your skills and confidence in product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Friendly customer service experience and willingness to learn about outdoor products.
• Great communication with customers and colleagues.
• Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a standout shopping experience by understanding customer needs and helping them find the right outdoor gear.
• Keep the store tidy and welcoming, ensuring products are easy to see.
• Build product knowledge through training and hands-on experience.
• Learn and deliver specialist services like gait analysis, boot fitting and rucksack fitting.
• Help the store run smoothly by maintaining stock and a neat environment.
• Be part of a flexible team with weekend shifts and advance rota planning.
