Southwark Council in London is seeking an events professional to support the procurement, planning and delivery of outdoor events across the borough, focusing on large-scale commercial events.

You will liaise with Licensing, Health and Safety, and partners such as Police and TfL, ensuring compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.

You will coordinate public consultations, monitor performance and assist with budget tracking to grow Southwark’s events programme in a safe, affordable and green borough.

Formación

• Experience delivering large-scale outdoor or commercial events.
• Knowledge of licensing, health and safety requirements.
• Strong stakeholder and client-management skills, with partners and residents.

Responsabilidades

• Support procurement, planning and delivery of outdoor events across the borough, focusing on large-scale commercial events.
• Coordinate and manage public consultation processes for major events.
• Monitor event performance, analyse feedback and support improvement across the events programme.
• Track payments and assist with financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Represent the Events Service at external meetings and support SAG processes.
