Job summary

Realise Training’s Heywood House Nursery in Sheffield is offering an Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. You’ll gain hands-on experience with children aged 0-5 in a welcoming outdoor setting, working on a 32-hour minimum week with a 14-month program leading to a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

You’ll collaborate with a supportive team, build strong links with parents, and be supported by Realise as your training provider to complete academic components of the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Experience working with 0-5 year olds desirable

Responsibilities

• To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years
• To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others
• To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development
• To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Deputy Nursery Manager/Nursery Manager
• To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship, which will lead to a nationally recognised qualification, that is fully transferable to other employers.
