Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking an Acoustic Logging Technician to support leak detection across the water network. This entry-level role offers full training and a chance to develop technical skills in the water industry.

You will locate fittings, deploy and collect acoustic loggers, and record data using specialist equipment, with a focus on safety and documentation. A full UK driving licence is required, and you may work flexible hours including nights.

Qualifications

• Basic IT, maths and English skills required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to lift/manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Locate water main fittings across the network.
• Deploy and collect acoustic logging devices.
• Use equipment to record and analyse noise samples.
• Document activities in company systems.
• Meet targets; deploy and collect a minimum of 80 loggers per day.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
