IVC Evidensia Glasgow hospital is seeking a weekend veterinary nurse to join our out-of-hours team. You will provide high‑standard inpatient care for referral patients as well as incoming emergencies and critical care, working alongside Specialist and AP vets in a multidisciplinary, supportive environment.

The role features a 5 nights on, 5 nights off rota with shifts 16:00–04:00 or 20:00–08:00. Salary up to £35,000 DOE per annum.

Our Glasgow hospital offers emergency and critical care, orthopaedic, soft tissue, internal medicine and referrals, and we’re looking to add to our existing team with a weekend veterinary nurse. You will be part of our out of hours team and will be required to provide high-standard inpatient care for referral patients as well as incoming emergencies and critical care patients. This is an opportunity to work with Specialist and AP vets in a multi-discipline and supportive environment.

Working pattern

This role will be supporting our busy out of hours service:

• Working on 5 nights on, 5 nights off rota, shift times 16:00 to 04:00 or 20:00 to 08:00
