Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced District Nursing Specialist Practitioner for an out-of-hours post (28.5 hours). The role will involve managing the District Nursing Team, arranging workloads and rotas, and leading clinical standards to meet service demand within an integrated neighbourhood setting.

You will assess and develop students and junior staff by designing learning programmes and acting as a Mentor, contributing to ongoing workforce

Qualifications

• Must hold Specialist Practitioner Qualification.
• Experience in district nursing and community setting is essential.
• Ability to lead a team and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine activities of the District Nursing Team, organise workload and staff rotas.
• Exercise leadership and judgement to maintain high standards of care.
• Assess and develop students/junior staff through learning programmes and mentoring.
