Job description

• O2C & Finance Office required on a permanent basis.
• This is a hybrid working role. based in Coventry.

About Our Client

The company is a well established business operating in the retail industry, known for its commitment to innovation and high-quality products. Based in Coventry, it has a robust Accounting & Finance department that supports its operations both locally and internationally.

Job Description

• Manage the order to cash cycle, including sales orders, customer invoice processing and cash collection.
• Ensure on time payment by customers and develop a robust system for payment follow up
• Review & propose customer credit limits in conjunction with appropriate credit reports
• Maintain customer finance relationships.
• Co-ordinate completion of all Purchase Orders through Pro-Activ system for sales rebate schemes
• Work with Financial Controller to reconcile AR and rebate provisions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Generate and analyse AR and cash collection reports.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Support Financial Controller and FP&A Manager in respect of information or data that they may require, e.g. research and obtain industry data
• Act as office support in relation to, but not limited to, activities such as Health & Safety; Office Events; Travel etc

The Successful Applicant

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proficiency in financial management software
• A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
