Job summary

Ipsen’s Wrexham site is seeking an experienced OT Support Lead to oversee and develop our Operational Technology function, ensuring reliability, security and performance of manufacturing systems that support site operations.

You will lead a team of OT professionals, collaborate with Production, Engineering and Global IT, drive continuous improvement, cybersecurity and digitalisation initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar position.
• People management experience or senior position in the team.
• Good communication skills. Able to keep multiple stakeholders informed.
• Regulatory knowledge e.g. GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR11, EU ANNEX 11.
• Ideally experience gained in the pharma industry.

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of manufacturing and automation systems.
• Drive OT and cybersecurity strategies in line with business and regulatory requirements.

• Manage OT projects and system upgrades, ensuring compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards.

This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of manufacturing systems and automation technologies that support critical site operations.

Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Global IT teams, you will lead a talented team of specialists while driving continuous improvement, cybersecurity, and digitalisation initiatives across the site.
