The Transmission Cyber Security team sets and applies security processes and standards across the transmission business.
It protects the Operational Technology (OT) systems that enable safe, reliable electricity transmission and advises on wider cyber security risks.
The team embeds secure-by-design principles, monitors systems and assures security controls across projects including substations, network and SCADA replacements, condition monitoring and asset management systems.
Within Security Engineering, you’ll support the secure design, delivery, assurance and operation of OT systems, working with project teams, vendors and operational colleagues to embed and maintain cyber security requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
OT cyber security experience is important; however, the right mindset is essential: being curious, accountable, collaborative and willing to learn, with a clear understanding of how OT supports safe and reliable business operations
