Job summary

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is seeking to appoint a non-clinical operational coordinator within the Through Age Occupational Therapy Service in Ceredigion. The role collaborates with Team Managers, Senior Occupational Therapists and Assistants to drive day-to-day operations and long-term service improvement.

The post supports planning, resource coordination and improvement projects while embedding new ways of working and monitoring performance to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating day-to-day operational activity.
• Ability to lead teams and supervise non-clinical staff.
• Strong planning and resource coordination skills.
• Experience with performance information analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational activity across the Occupational Therapy service.
• Provide organisational line management and non-clinical supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Support planning, prioritisation and resource coordination.
• Lead and support service improvement projects.
• Help design, implement and embed new ways of working.
• Analyse and monitor performance information to support decision making.
• Support communication and engagement around change initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Occupational Therapy, TSTS and wider Council services.
• Help ensure the service operates efficiently, effectively and sustainably.
